UNSW Climate Change Expo
Vecor Technologies was invited to participate in the UNSW Future Climate and Clean Energy Expo in May, 2024. The exhibition presents green innovations to businesses, investors, and government bodies that aligns with climate resilience, decarbonisation, and the upcoming energy transition. This invitation comes from our affiliation with the Trailblazer Recycling and Clean Energy program (TRaCE), a 4 years, $277 million fund that supports the commercialisation of recycling and green energy initiatives.
Learn more about TRaCE and its mission with Vecor to create a circular economy.
We were able to present ready to commercialise products for Vecor Ceramics at the expo, gaining strong interests in our technology’s performance and capacity to reduce carbon emissions in the paints and coatings industry. Like many of the innovators around us in this expo, our technology focused on recycling materials from the waste-stream, to form a circular economy that aligns with Australia’s goal of decarbonisation by 20250.
Prototypes for our sodium-ion battery and hydrogen from seawater project were also presented at the exhibition, showcasing innovative ideas for the future of sustainable energy generation and low-cost, high performance energy storage solutions. See below to see our team in action!
